To devise an awareness campaign for the NETS survey for the third year running.
Open 3rd to 30th November 2021, the NETS is the only national survey open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students and trainees undertaking a practice placement or training post in healthcare as part of their education and training programme. The survey gathers opinions from students and trainees about their time working and training in practice placements and training posts, asking them to provide feedback on what worked well and what they think could be improved.
The approach was very targeted, we devised a communications matrix together with the team at HEE for messaging and collateral including producing a range or resources for stakeholders.
The theme this year was You said. we listened. This was basically capitalising on all the data and reporting for the last survey to demonstrate to students that their concerns were taken into account and acted upon.
The format was hugely successful and demonstrated that detailed information and even an economic evaluation tool could be included in toolkits like these.
This toolkit contains quick references to key messages and resources in an interactive PDF format.
“I’m not alone in wanting to thank you for all the hard work you have put into supporting NETS and us over the last year. Your work is exceptional and has helped us increase visibility across HEE and beyond, and for that we are eternally grateful.”
