Discovery Collaborative Programme.

the brief.

The Discovery programme commissioned us to support the production if its Annual Report, which included, content development and copywriting, design development and project management.

The Discovery Data Service is currently overseen by the Discovery Collaborative Programme. This is made up of three Integrated Care Systems that supervise the use and development of the service: • North East London • North West London • South East London Combined, they use the Discovery Data Service’s data to produce better health and care outcomes for their patients and citizens.

the approach.

To produce a single pdf report that was design led, visually attractive and easy to navigate. We had to ensure consistent tone of voice overall.

We led on the whole project presenting to and engaging with the board and representatives of three ICS’s, creating content and style. The key to this project was gathering the information through a series of interviews with contacts in each of the three London ICS’s, so that they could have their own voice, about how they came to together to demonstrate the benefit of the Discovery Data Service. It also details the many groundbreaking projects powered by the Discovery Data Service that have delivered transformation across a host of NHS offerings.

the outcome.

The purpose was to showcase the journey of the Discovery programme as a locally driven initiative involving a collaboration of NHS organisations in North East London, local partners and citizens.

The aim is: The future of the NHS will focus on delivering better care through deeper data-driven insights. To encourage other ICSs to join the Discovery Collaborative Programme by promoting Discovery Data Service’s benefits and successes, in turn rolling out the service beyond London’s borders and out across England.

"A lot of work has gone into the creation of this document, orchestrated by Rafferty’s.”

Andy Thomas, Programme Manager - Discovery Collaborative
